Welcome to Lindsay’s Two Cents! I’m so happy you’re here!

Did you believe raising children would come naturally only to find out it’s REALLY HARD?

Despite your best efforts, do you feel like you’re losing your cool and screwing up over and over?

Do you worry way more about your kids than you ever expected?

Do you feel overwhelmed by the sheer volume or conflicting parenting advice that’s out there?

Do you feel like you have no time – no time for yourself, no time to get everything done?

Do you wish things could be a little more 50/50 between you and your spouse?

Wish it could be easier?

If you answered Yes to any of these questions, you are not alone.

Hi, I’m Lindsay and I started this website after being completely overwhelmed with all of the parenting advice out there – from how to conceive, what to eat during pregnancy, which car seat to buy, to sleep training, potty training, and getting kids to listen. I wasn’t happy with a lot of the one-size-fits-all information out there, the conflicting advice on important topics, and fail-proof methods that never quite work in the real world.

What to expect from this blog

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all parenting tactics. Instead, I believe that every parent is capable of being great – including you! That’s why I share:

  • Methods that are proven to work, and have worked for me
  • Questions to ask before making tough decisions
  • A different perspective – Sometimes looking at a problem from a different vantage point can reveal a new solution

I aim to post a couple of times each month. Join for free and receive new posts directly to your inbox.

Get the exact strategies I use to eliminate power struggles and connect with your child.

This FREE guide gives you:

  • 8 Reasons why children misbehave and don’t listen
  • 8 Mental frameworks that will help you increase your patience
  • 25 Proven strategies to get your child to listen and cooperate
How can I help you? Send me an email and let me know.
